I finally got around to posting some pics and info on my new Globescout Panniers with the Hepco Becker racks. I have to say i looked at a lot of different panniers. I found these to be excellent in every way. The quality and build of these panniers is what sold me. They have that quality feel to them. I compared them to Zega Pros and the Tourtechs are not even close imo. My Globes came straight from Turkey and arrived well packaged. I had to drill them myself and assemble which was a piece of cake. The bottom rear latch needs to be a little greater than 45 degrees to clear the Hepco cross bar. The Hepco rack is also excellent and comes off and on in about 30 seconds. I sprung for the Hepco locks which i think are a nice feature to keep the cases more secure. I asked if a helmet would fit in the 45L right case and i was told no. I tried my Arai XD-4 and it does not fit. I put my sons RF1000 and it fit. Some helmets will and some wont i guess. The latches work awesome and are heavy duty. I also like the little nets you can get from Globe that fit in the top of the case, i used them throughout my last trip. Globecout has the bags that go inside the cases and they made getting all my gear in and out to the room nice and easy and quick, also great quality.

My only two gripes which are small is the top case bag straps are sewn to the lid of the bag unlike the side case bags. They should sew the straps to the side so you aren't pulling on the zipper rather the side when removing it from the pannier. The other thing is these case lids can be opened forward or back. I find when i open them rearward the rear latch allows the cover to open at a angle and it can hit the top case. I know they prob don't want to put the cable to the outside of the case so it stays out of your way. Its a minor annoyance imo.

I want to thank Paul at ADV Depot. He really helped me out getting these cases short notice out of Istanbul to my house in Canada. They came as he said within 5-6 days. I did pay a little more but as we know this adventure product can be tough to get. Enjoy

::026:: I have has mine for 6 months and LOVE them . I only have the side not the top. I have a Pelican top and it too can get hit if you're not careful when opening. I also can't say enough good things about Paul at Adv Depot. I had a few issues with fit on the racks and one other issue. He sent me extra parts and was very responsive to me when I was looking for help. I wouldn't hesitate to buy anything from him. He gets customer service ::008::

I don't know many that have them but those that do really like them .
