Givi Trekker Top case mounted on OEM luggage rack?

Anyone mount a Givi Trekker on the stock luggage rack? If so, did you use a adapter or ....? Just curious.

IIRC, someone here had mounted their Trekker trunk to the rack, but assume he used one of the generic adapter plates. I remember the person saying it was not very sturdy and he planned to go with a regular Givi compatible rack.

I'm using the actual Givi rack and am very pleased with it.

I did not use the stock rack, but went for the SW Motech with adapter plate.....very sturdy! (wanted the Altrider rack but they had been on back order forever without a known delivery date)

I think most things could be made to work, just a matter of drilling the appropriate holes. Thinking of Altrider rack with Gobi topbox, so I hope so!

I have the Givi SR371 top mount which comes with the plastic monokey M5 plate,
I replaced the M5 with the metal M11 plate,it is lower in profile and seems stronger
