I have a 2014 ZE (ES) and want to attach side cases

The Givi range is my preferred choice, and the Tekker outback cases look like the ones for me, I already have a Trekker outback Monokey Top Box

My question is should I order a smaller 37Ltr left side case to compliment a larger 48 Ltr Right side case which I think will 'balance' the appearance of my bike or should I order a 48 ltr case for each side

The fitting kit (PL2119 CAM) is the only one suitable for these cases and the rapid Detachment fitting kit is not available or suitable for these cases..or so I'm told

Has any one got any pictures of these cases fitted so I can have a look

Thanks in advance guys :)

There are a couple of long threads on this in the Luggage section of the forum (with plenty of photos)....

I went for the balanced look, with the 37/48 combo.

Thanks guys, I did actually search before posting and somehow only found 4 posts so completely missed the link you have provided. DUH what a dummy :D

I'll do more research now ::012::

Since my initial post I've had another thought and may now go for the Trekker panniers

Thanks again........now where did I put my wallet ::025::

I went with Givi Outback, both the same size and am happy with the look. I think they are 48L.
I did the same 48l on both sides. Very happy not too big for me.

I had those cases on my 2012 Tenere'. I just used 2 37 ltr cases. No need the difference in so small no one notices. Now if you want/need the extra storage go for a bigger case. But I would go with both cases being bigger.
Personal opinion I think two different size cases looks goofy.
YMMV

Hi Rog,

We ended up with a Givi PLR2119 demountable frame - an excellent fit from your recomended supplier in Italy. Seven days delivery & a keen price too. Along with a 45L Monokey Top case & two of the tiny 21L Givi Cruiser panniers, we managed to get all we needed on board for our last tour. These panniers are far more frail than normal monokey offerings, but keep the bike narrow enough for filtering/lane splitting, yet seem to offer up little wind resistance. Once we have pulled the camera card I can post some pics maybe.

I managed to kick the pannier lids many times, a special skill that I seem to have perfected now, but I have to say the whole set remained leak free throughout, which is more than can be said for SWMBOs new Dainese Goretex jacket - since returned. She was cold/soaked on the pillion, so the Givi set did see some serious rain.

Cheers .................... KEN
