Anyone have these liners? Care to comment? Are they tough, water(resistant), etc?

My wife and I are headed for Europe in September so we're busy getting everything we can, on this side of the pond, before we leave. Our 2014 Super T has the Trekker 33L panniers and we're thinking to buy the T484B Inner Liners to carry on the plane. Be real easy if we can pack here and just slip the whole kit into the panniers when we arrive.

Here's a pic of the panniers

Sorry I don't know about the bags but I also have the 33's so would be interested in the response.
I will say so far my Boxes have not leaked a drop.
Plus looking and your picture it looks like you could put the Bike in the top box :)

We're a little worried about leakage, be best if we don't have to pack everything in trash bags. It's encouraging to hear your (@Scrogs10) comment on the subject.

The convenience of packing at home, knowing everything will fit when we get there, is the big issue. That and the durability - we're going to have to trust these things to the tender mercies of the airline baggage handlers.

Watch this space, hopefully someone else has some experience with the liners.

That top box is something else, isn't it? We plan to travel with that pretty much empty, using it for helmet, boot, and suit storage when we stop. Maybe keep spare gloves, walking shoes, rain gear in there when we're traveling.
