My set of GIVI Engine guard have done their job very well (several times). The Tube end plugs that come with the kit are long gone. So made new ones with my new 3D printer. Below is a link to the file. snug and perfect fit.

Going to get some glow in the dark filament, or maybe color match the set.

I'll post some pics of them installed shortly.

Cheers

Well, it really depends on the individual i think. I have +20 years in plastic part mfg and injection molding. Plus I am a geek, so its kind of second nature. But its as a steep learning curve, different materials and different colors behave differently. And will react either in a positive or negative fashion based upon temperature, humidity, speed and precision. There are some great You Tube channel to get you started and for roughly $750 you can have a very precise system (mine is set at 0.01 mm).

If you are mechanically incline with some good PC skills. I don't see an issue. There are tons of forum and support online.

One of my favorite channel is Thomas Sanladerer (Tom's guide channel). https://www.youtube.com/user/ThomasSanladerer

The system I started with is from Printrbot Simple metal with heated bed. http://printrbot.com/, they have a new start up system for $400 with heated bed.

I am using Google Sketchup 2015 for drawing my parts (its free)

Hope this helps

Make a $5 donation to the http://www.globalgiving.org/projects/nepal-earthquake-relief-fund/

Give you address and I'll mail you a set (2) for $5, $10 donation gets you (4). Just PrintScreen a shot of the Paypal transaction. My way of paying it forward.

:)

I've got a set of plugs on the way! I just wanted to say what a great guy Havok is and what a nice gesture it was to give it all to charity. Thanks a lot.
