The Givis look great!
But I wouldn't be splitting lanes in SF with those.

Is that the MRA bolt on spoiler and what are your thoughts?

Nice looking bags. How wide are they mounted? In California we are allowed to split lanes and wide is not fun. Had a DL1000 with Hepco Becker Gobi's which were very wide and nervous.

They would be wider than the front. Lane splitting would be tricky. I pack light, and I think the 36s would have been enough, but they come off (and the rack, too) so quickly, I believe they will be excellent for 10+ day trips

The MRA works well, but it is a bastard to assemble. You get some movement in the end of the windscreen because of it's weight. Turbulence when adjusted is about nil

I borrowed some E-41's from a friend to use on my first trip on the Tenere, IIRC they are 41" wide.
I just got my Micatech bags this week, 37L left and 45L right, they measure 38".
I think the Jesse bags are 36"

Would a larger bracket with 2 mounting bars for digital goodies do the trick?

Why not double stack your iPod or other electrical gadgets? :)

Can Madstat or some other magician easily do this?
