Sorry for the post delayThanks for the photos! I like both of your setups but the more I look at the E22's, the more I like them. I usually don't travel for more than one week at a time and I'm hoping the the 47L top case and two 22L side cases will be enough luggage. Did you find the PL frames easy to install?
I switched to Givi E21 side cases about 12-14 years ago to cut down my wind drag.
I had been using the E360 side cases & an E460 top on my Stroms.
I bought an E55 top case to help make up the difference in total capacity. Adding a Chase Harper Dlx Hideaway Tail bag on rear seat when needed
E360s/460 40+40+46=126 ltr
E21s/E460 21+21+46=88ltr & CH bag
E21s/E55 21+21+55= 97ltr & CH bag 25-39ltr
I switched to the newer style E22 cases about 8-9 years ago & added a smaller B33 top case appx 4-5 years back.
E22/B33 22+22+33=77ltr
Still have the E55 but dont use it.
Ive learned to pack less...& use lightweight clothes where possible..allowing for using the smaller bags. I have used the B33 in conjunction with the E22s on a trip thru NM AZ UT & CO this Aug...12-13 days. I washed clothes once in UT.
I should mention....I was on my Tiger 1200...
