I'm considering purchasing the Givi AirFlow windscreen but am wondering if it is compatible with the Yamaha side wind deflectors on the 2013 model. I have been researching and reading all the windscreen/buffeting posts I have been able to find. Thanks for any help in advance. I'm 6-04 and have only had the bike for a short time but in anticipation of some hopefully long rides next year I've been exploring my options. Bob.

I have the Givi AirFlow on my 13 model and really like the set up. I'm about 5.11 and can ride all day with my visor up if I wish.

Having said that, my bike came with winglets so I can't comment how much protection they add to the AirFlow

The givi is brilliant with the wind deflectors. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

I borrowed Litteldave's Givi to try and I couldn't find suitable position without masses of noise, I'm 6'2". I could get it so I wasn't getting buffeted but the noise was unbearable. probably just me... I ended up going for a Calcsi 24" jobbie and it's fine.

The airflow combined with touratech adjustable bracket really solved the buffetingproblem I had. Don´t know what differense the "sidewings" does really..if any? Had them on since the bike was new so I don´t really know... I´ve fixed the bracket in the most backleaning angle as possible and normally keeps the screen in its lowest position unless I wanna ride with open visor, then I pull it up high. Works fine and looks good to I think...a really high screen looks worse I think..like a scooter sort of ::26:: Ps allways have earplugs and more or less deaf on one ear, so noise is no issue..6,1 tall

I have 2011 with Winglets, but basically same as 2013.

No problem and the screen works about as well as anything else I have ever used and better than most, the adjustability is very handy, and on really hot days I sometimes take the upper half off completely.

Only downside is the thing is a bit ugly.

I think at over 6' you will not be able to get all the wind over your head without a madstad bracket. It's a great design and works well.

I am about 6'1 and find I only need the Airflow about 2/3rds - 3/4s up for the wind to clear my head, tested using the hand in front of face technique.
