Let me know what you think of the Givi D447ST cbruinsw, I was just talking to GW cycle to get a price in Calgary today but decide to check the forum before I order.

Despite some good reviews on the net for other bikes I am now a bit leery. A few have had the top screen detach and bonk them on the head. I am certain there was some user error or negligence but the fact that the screen can loosen will be magnified in an adventure setting. Interested in a response from the standard screen but I will likely go to a CalSci Med.

I just ordered the d447ST I hope to have it in a week and I will report on it also. The shield is 5in taller than stock and a few inches wider. Should be interesting.

I think I paid about $128 tax in for the D447ST at Blackfoot so if it doesn't work out well it's no big loss. Should have it this week.

I am also interested in this give screen and would consider getting and fitting to my touratech screen adjuster, I already have two calsci screens and whilst the medium version is adequate I'm not overly impressed with the quaility and this give screen could give even more adjustability.

We could really do with some solid reviews and searching on google didn't turn much up.

Hi Terryth, did that UPS truck pitch up yet? I would be so grateful for a few feedback words on the airflow.
I guess you are busy and this is a gentle ask.

Yes it has. But, I am busy this weekend with a local trials club event event this weekend and the ST is sitting in the garage somewhat apart in the middle of the 600 mile service and installation of a SW-Motech skid plate and Yamaha heated grips kit. I won't be able to finish it until Monday some time to get it together and go ride it :(

Got mine today - really impressed. It does look a bit strange but even with the scoopy thing in the lowest position I am visor up at 160 KPH buffeting free and pretty much all I hear is the twin and air intake.
You can tell out of the blocks that it works. Even in slow mo there is no trace of a wobble in the air.
I have is mounted on a TT adjustable. TT is on the higher S10 setting, Givi in on the lower TT setting.

I will try to mount it on the S10 in the lowest position tomorrow (time permitting). I am confident it will work.
