Hello!

I have no trouble getting the bike on the center stand but I was wondering whether any of you have a fool-proof way to get the bike off the center stand. Which side of the bike are you at when doing so, etc.?

As always, much obliged!

Left side, left hand on the left hand grip of the handle bar and the right hand on the left rear hand hold by the pass seat. Just push the bike forward and down she goes. Works good for me.

My technique is a little different. . . . I stand on the left side, hands on bars, steer the bike maybe 15 degrees to the right, and push forward. As the bike comes off the stand, the bike moves away from me and leans towards me. Steering the bike away is key here. . . . I dunno--seems to work!

Try the method above with side and top cases and a full rumbux set. Won't budge for me at all without some help, but like I've said below, I'm a smaller guy.

sitting on it and riding it off. Just don't get your foot off of the ground or you can get it hung up. feet on the pegs and ride it off....

Either rocking back and forth while seated with both feet on the ground and covering the front brake keeping the handlebar straight OR riding off after rocking it. For me, these are the safest option and been doing this with a Goldwing, FJR and now this bike.

Similar to other's....
Either rocking back and forth while seated with both feet on the ground and covering the front brake keeping the handlebar straight or alternatively standing on LHS with left hand on the left hand grip of the handle bar and the right hand on the left rear hand hold by the pillion seat. Just push the bike forward and down she goes. Works good for me.

The reason why I originally posted gre question is that I do it just as you describe but, once, the side stand almost folded back while I was getting the bike off the center stand as you describe. That was a bit scary...
