gear whine

I went for a short ride on my 89 Softail on Saturday and today out on the S10 and realized there is no wind buffering on the S10, no Harmonic noises and vibrations, no Gear whine, no Ping and stall of idle with throttle blip and there was no H2O in the final drive when I took her for a swim. This bike is perfect well almost other than the seat.

Almost sounds like it has no "character"!!!

Thanks for reminding me............. I received my Yukon book about a week or two ago and finally got a chance to sit down and look through it. AWESOME!!!!! Lots of great info!! I am really looking forward to getting up that way next year!!

We should turn the day in between July 1 and July 4 ... July 2? ... into Eh Day, eh? Looking forward to it. It's been a semi-kaka partly crappy quasi-pukey summer this year. Lots of rain. Some sun. Hopefully next year will be a better one weather wise. Lots to talk about over the winter.


I was just thinking that I'll be putting the old boy away for the winter in another month, or less. Sad but true. My black bike is gonna be really blue when that happens. I guess I'll have a blue bike after all. R
