G'day guys!
I've finally made my way from a Tiger 1050 to an S10.
Two years ago I was in the market for a bike having sold my last in a long line of VFR800s. I'd sold when the kids came along and within two years needed to fill the gap between my legs.
With the kids now on the scene I had a budget imposed and it stretched only as far as a Tiger 1050. Silly me test rode the S10 at the time though. First mistake. I rode the Tiger and modded it to buggery to try to achieve what the S10 was.
Well, after some deep soul searching and late night budget balancing, I made the crossover and after riding 1200KLMS home on it, over 26HRS, I have fallen in love. It is a 2010 OE model with 7,000KLMS on the clock. I have a few items on order to make it commutable in Canberra, but I am going to avoid the neverending mod cycle and keep it stock. I sank a lot of money into the Tiger trying to make it something else, but don't think I'll need to with the S10.
Look forward to chatting, riding and drinking with you all. ::003::
Cheers,
