Gathering of the Nortons, april 15, Bucks county PA

Is anyone planning on attending the annual Gathering of the Nortons rally? I've attended the last 2 or 3 and it's always a good time.

for those not aware, the event takes place in washington crossing park, bucks county PA. It takes place between 10am and 2pm on sunday April 15.

Hell Yes, I go every year. It's a very nice display of vintage bikes of all makes. Nortons, Vincents, BMW's.

I usually head over to the Brass Ring for Breakfast before we head over to Washingtons's Crossing. It's funny, but alot of other vintage bikes start at the Brass Ring and migrate over to the Gathering.

I hope my Bill Mayer seat is back here before the 15th.

What! ??? Well, it's been awhile since I was there, so you might be right. They did seem to have mixed reviews, but I liked their breakfasts.

I'll probably be riding with a bunch of BMW Cruiser (R1200C) guys. We haven't firmed anything up yet either, but depending on the time and everyone's availability, we head north for a ride in the country side.

BTW, That's funny that you ride with with your old BMW group because of your old bike. I do exactly the same thing but with triumph. I ride with mostly triumph guys because I've had triumphs for most of my motorcycling days.

Ya, well these guys are local and for the most part they're ok. I also do an annual trip with them.

I did make it to The Gathering of the Nortons at about noon. It was a great turnout and the range of bikes was awesome. I was disappointed I didn't see any other Teneres. Hopefully I'll see another on the road before long.

I was there from 10:30 until about 1 or 1:30. I ran into MartinH and someone else whose forum name I don't recall. I was parked right in the main parking lot rows towards the end. There was another black one right near me.


It was a good turnout despite the chance of rain. Beautiful day

I was there as well. Saw 2 jersey plated bikes. 1black and 1 blue. I did get there a little late, but spoke to Martin for a bit before he left.

Always hard to meet up when there are hundreds of bikes and people walking around.

Oh, and I saw a black s10 coming over the frenchtown bridge into nj. I think you saw my bike parked while riding by.

Wow, I guess I need to be more observant. Thought I scanned the parking lot well. I didn't even see an S10 in Frenchtown coming off the bridge.
