Rounding down to 6gal in the tank, multiplying by 40mpg gives a very pessimistic 240mi range. (I really don't want to have to push the big girl) I've taken mine to 230mi and only put in 5.3gal(US). That all being said, everything has to be taken into consideration; your speed, wind speed, direction of wind, loaded/unloaded, etc.
I recently put in 20.5L, just like your 5.3 US gal. Never had it empty that far. No range left on the dash. 2 up, pretty scary until the next gasstation. But she handled very nice without all that weight high up.

My last 3 fill ups were at 250 miles and flashing empty for about 50 miles, I had a little over 1 gallon of gasoline left each time. I am very well satisfied with the Tenere fuel gauge . Much better to have a little more fuel left than indicated than less. All three fill ups were slightly over 50mpg , regular gas at Prudehoe Bay was $7.50 per gallon.

I keep full logs of every dollar spent in every vehicle I have. I most often get about 53-54 MPG but that is imperial gallons & works out to about 44-45 U.S. MPG.
I tend to have fun in twisties a lot as well on the way to work with the last 20 km being slow traffic & filtering.

I've noticed that unless you're flogging her in the twisties, she'll get close to 50mpg/us. With the torque, I can get into a rhythm and barely have to shift. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast. Otherwise she gets about 60mpg/us at 60mph. Of course, slower produces higher and faster reduces.

Hi,

I'm a very new owner (Sydney, Australia). Hi. I think I might have already set a record: 198.7km on reserve!
Problem is the fuel warning comes on at about 140km. If I immediately fill tank, it only takes 8L.
After filling I only see 3 blocks above the "E" polygon, I don't see the "F" polygon at all.

So is there a prize here for furthest on reserve?
