I agree!
The OEM windshield, handlebars, foot pegs, .....etc
They are all perfect for somebody.

But they can't be perfect for more than those that mirror the engineers test dummy. (no insult intended)

Coming off an FZ1 I found on the test rides I have done the past few years that windshield is like a sail in front of me. That opinion may change once I have more than an hour of seat time.

Well it turns out that I swung a deal with GA check point in Port Moody before I heard back from the guys in penticton.so off I am to pick up my new bike next weekend. Been wanting one for 5 years, now I am a week away from realizing that dream.

Congrats, we should go for a ride sometime.

That is strange since there's as many in Texas as any place on the planet.

(based on a few data points over the years)
I'm not saying I see them daily, but hardly a rare sighting.
Not to mention there 5 or 6 of us, that have ridden together, down here in the rural area just northwest of Galveston.

That's what I was thinking. And considering our available riding season, there should be more from out-of-state also. I don't even see any GS/As either. Mostly bunches of HDs.

Reading this tread makes me so happy I got a used 2014 for 10k. Also had 10k miles, but I think that is a good deal.

It's an outstanding deal. Seriously.
The break in on this bike, in my opinion, is between 6-7000 miles.
You bought virtually a pair of pre-washed jeans. Somebody actually did you a favor!
