Just a point of reference for others as well as some historical documentation for myself. I put on a pair of Full Bore M40 (radial) tires at 22,300 miles. I'm getting ready to head out on a trip, so I've replaced the rear tire as it was nearing the end. I probably could have commuted on it for another 1,000 miles, best estimate. I'm now at 30,000 miles on the nose. Front tire still has a lot of meat left, but does show some cupping due to front braking. So, for the price, the performance, and the riding conditions I see with this bike, I'll keep using them.

How many miles did you end up putting on the rear? What is the price you are paying for the Full Bore M40?

I put 7,700 miles on the rear. Paid $90 for a new one. Just picked it up from mounting and it took 1/2 ounce to balance.

Ok thanks. These very well could be my next tire. I like the look and design of the shins 705 but I hear they don't last very well on the s-10.

7,700 miles and still some tread left is very good life, especially for the price.
