Since it was a nice day and the roads were dry I thought I would pop down on my xt1200 to my local dealer.
1) to see if there had been any interest in my 900 he is selling for me
and more importantly
2) to buy some fuel enhancer to protect the fuel system on my xt1200 over the winter storage
As my tank was only a quarter full I thought it would be an ideal time to add some of the Rock Oil XRP to the fuel tank before I set off on my journey home - to ensure it mixed well.
About half way home I noticed a significant (and I mean SIGNIFICANT!) increase in performance. The fuel enhancer was certainly doing its job. I'm pretty sure this wouldn't be down to the octane boosting properties. I'm assuming it is down to the cleaning of the injection system.
For £7.50 a bottle I would advise anyone to give this or a similar product a try. I am truly gobsmacked by it.
