Seat is used, but has had no degradation of padding or suspension materials, and no rips, tears or stitching issues with the cover. This is the best seat for the S10 that money can buy. I've done 800+ miles per day on this saddle with no issues. My wife and I have done the Romney event twice, and many multi-day trips through PA on this seat and it's been excellent for both of us.
I will not separate the seats.
