FS: Alpinestars Toucan Size 44.5 Lightly Used

Selling my Alpinestars Toucans bought less than a year ago with about a dozen rides on them. Euro size 44.5 which says US 10. I wear a 10.5 and these fit great. These are the latest model with the improved buckles

Worn offroad and on-road so a little dusty, but no odors, tears, rips, or unusual wear. Shows normal wear. Tread is in great shape.

I've had these on my wishlist for a while but i wear a size 8 in alpinestars. Why are you selling? Something about the boot you didnt't like?

In a nutshell, I didn't feel they were offering me the protection I needed for the riding or "falling" I do. The story is in the ADV vs MX boot thread under "Gear" that I started. I need a boot that allows a lot less lateral movement and better protection...

On the plus side, I like they are waterproof, comfortable and breathe really well. The footbed is stiff enough to stand on the pegs for extended durations.
