front view...gaping hole

Anybody have any ideas what I could mount up front under the headlights to help fill in some of that empty real estate? There is a bracket with a few holes sitting under there as if asking for something. It just seems something should go in there. Looking at the horn, wires, and brake hose is not very attractive.

I've got the PIAA light kit from Yamaha on mine. Touratech has a panel that mounts in that area that looks very nice installed.

Bought a filler plate from a member here, Longboard. Don't know if he's still around and offering the filler plate...

I got the PIAAs. They fill in nicely but the squadrons are brighter if you ride a lot at night. I try my best not to.

For you guys mounting auxilliary lighting, where are you mounting the switch and and how are you wiring the lights? Thru an auxilliary fuseblock? Thats what was popular on the ST1300 and FJ1300, but they had more panel area for switches and larger underseat area and easily accessible under tail areas for fuseblocks.

I'm still learning the 'where's and hows' of the Super Ten.

Greg,
I can't wait to hear more about your setup for the Rigid 6" combo. That seems like the setup to have.
all the parts showed up. i need to find the time to do it.
Just putting the bike back together after my valve adjustment.

Should work out well, I have an aux. switch, with the help of the aftermarket dimmer, I will have three settings of brightness, plus high beam trigger
The Rigid D2's worked very well, but I need them on my car, and the 6 inch will look sweet!
Heavy bastard though..

I have the Squadrons powered through an FZ1 fuse block. One of the lights is wired to a switch which will trigger with the ignition off. Good for setting up a tent in the dark. The other is wired to my brights switch. This setup calls for a couple of relays available at any auto parts store.

I plan on putting in a light bar but in the mean time I made a grill out of an aluminum vent cover. $12 from Home Depot. It matches the skid plate and bags pretty well but I painted it black after a few weeks.
