I just got back from a 5000 mile trip, cleaned the bike up two days ago, and saw what I thought was residual water
on the garage floor today. It turned out to be brake fluid dripping from the left front caliper and a closer examination was conducted after removing the caliper from the fork. I found that the brake line banjo bolt was weeping brake fluid and the bolt was finger tight-------------NEVER seen this before in 46 years of riding.
So, I cleaned up everything with brake/contact cleaner, snugged up the banjo bolt, topped off the 60-70% empty front brake master cylinder, and re-installed the left caliper. I have a firm feel at the brake lever, but will bleed and replace the brake fluid when things cool down around the midwest.
All of the other banjo bolts front and rear were snug when checked.
Just some FYI.
