From the Maiden Voyage

Well, sorta. I had ridden my ST a couple of times. Mostly in the rain, when I rode it home from Round Rock to Houston, to work a couple of times, and to its 600 mile service. But this weekend was the real "Lets get out and have fun" outing. I hit the Sam Houston National Forest area around Montgomery, TX, and boy was that fun. This is a real beast, and all the good ways. Montgomery Texas, my old stompin' grounds. Lived and rode there from 1998-2007. Miss it dearly.
Some darn fine back roads, and lots of nice dirt roads. Rode with the Two Wheeled Texans group
rides many times.
