Friday the 13th in Port Dover

Is anyone from the forum heading down to Port Dover Ontario for the Friday the 13th Bike rally? I've never attended one but if the weathers decent I think I will ride down and see what it's all about. Thousands of bikes are expected so I thought someone might want to see something besides a Harley.

It's a madhouse in that little town... Like Sturgis on the lake with better beer. I enjoyed it, but won't be going back as it doesn't fit into my getting away spirit of things. Not to mention the doghouse closed down and they had THE ribs.

It's finally starting to warm up over there. I spend a fair amount of time between Port Dover and St Thomas and have been waiting for the 70°'s... Awfully late this year. Have a great time if you go!

I've been twice. Not worth the trip. Far too crowded, I can sit in traffic on rush hour coming home for work for less time than it will take you to make one pass down Main Street in first gear. Suppose everyone needs to experience it once. I suggest ANY other weekend, it is a pretty spot to stop for lunch.
