Good day Fizzer , I might have something special for you or your friend if you looking for a 2nd gen ST . How adventurous are you ? So I was building this bike for trips to South/Central America and possibly Morocco , but it's too many projects , too many hobbies , not enough time and so I think she ha to go .
2017 ES model with 22K miles on it . I'm 6'3" , so its been set up for me . You won't find a comfier ST if you a tall guy .
Here are the mods : ( ergonomics )
Terrys custom rider and passenger heated seats ( electrical part is not plugged in , but everything you need is there , I jus didn't get to it ) . Seat raises you about an inch and moves you and the passenger back about 1-1 1/2" .
Helibar risers and ProTaper Adventure high handlebars . Longer brake and clutch lines installed .
Knight design lowered rider footpegs and adjustable passenger footpegs .
Modified rear brake pedal with the much bigger footprint for your foot .
Fully adjustable height and length vise BMW GS aftermarket folding gear shifter .
Rear shock spring has been upgraded to Race Tech .
It comes with two set of front wheels stock and 21" ( Made by Woody's wheels )
Madstad windshield bracket with stabilizers and a GPS/Phone accessory bar .
I have a dash infill panel that I havent installed yet .
Enlarged kick stand pad .
National cycle Touring or Sport windshield .
SW Motech pannier rack and Trax ADV panniers and trunk .
ALTRider upper and lower crash bars
ACD skid plate
Fiberglass , carbon fiber finish front fork guards from Italy ( like on a Worldcrosser )
Seal savers on the forks
Fiberglass carbon fiber finish hand guard extensions from Italy as well
Tech Spec tank protectors , sides and top
If the buyer is paying full price Givi specific tank bag would go with the bike as well .
Performance mods ( best part )
Arrow headers
Akrapovic titanium exhaust can
Open Mod insulated air box
Uni foam filters
Silicone coolant hoses
Barnett clutch compression plate and heaviest springs ( stock ones and softer Barnett springs from the kit come with it )
ECU re-flash by 2wheeldyno works from Seattle Washington specifically for all the performance mods I have done .
Let me say something here ... the bike is a screamer . It might loose to Ducati Multistrada and KTM Super Adventure , but it will take on the BMW GS all day without sacrificing an ounce of reliability . At the same time it's super smooth and so easy to ride you will think you on a cruiser , but when you snap that throttle ... oh boy !!!
Bike has been always babied since it was built for the long journey in mind and reliability has always been a number one priority in this build .
Asking $12K . My loss is your gain ...
All the work done by a paranoid perfectionist with mechanical engineering degree that works as an industrial maintenance foreman ... me . Absolutely no money , time or effort was spared in this build . Take of to RTW adventure straight from my garage ...
