Hey guys,

I'm looking for an actual service manual, not a CD, or a download. If not specifically for the 2013, I'm assuming the 2014-2015 would work for my bike?

Thanks and ride safe! ::003::

Re: WTB: 2013 Super Tenere Service Manual

2014 on is the next generation. 2010 to 2013 is the first generation, which is what you desire.

The come up for sale used here now and then. I think I paid about $90 for mine from the dealer.

Re: WTB: 2013 Super Tenere Service Manual

I would prefer a 2013 as that is the year of my bike. However, maintenance wise, I don't think anything has changed drastically from 13 to 14. They didn't rework a great deal mechanically for the bike.

*edit*

Is that a correct assumption? I know things are a little different, but procedures for removing X,Y, or Z, or torque specs, or service intervals etc..., should all still be the same?

As I said before, your 2013 is a Gen 1 bike, (2010 thru 2013). 2014-on are Gen 2 bikes which have different dash units, different controls and other significant electronic differences. A manual that covers the 2012 will be exactly the same manual that covers the 2013, but a 2014 manual will NOT be for your bike. In the US the '12 and '13 bikes are identical except for paint colors. '14 bikes got different clutch baskets, CCT units, gauge units, added CC and internally controlled heated grips, etc. Yes, most of the engine and hard part torques will be the same. However, if you're going to go to the trouble and expense of buying a FSM, get the real one, and the correct one for your generation of Super Tenere.

My 2012 labeled manual is p/n LIT-11616-25-09 (I purchased it thru my local dealer in 2011 when I bought my 2012 model) The 2013 manual is the same p/n.

Yamaha Manual Store The specific manual that comes up when you look up the 49 state 2013 Super Tenere, (not the California model), HERE for $89 direct from the official Yamaha source.

Thanks for the links Eric. I'll take it from there, straight to the source! I know that some things were changed but I just figured what was changed didn't affect the maintenance of the bike (i.e there isn't a brand new engine with brand new bolts and new specs to worry about). Fair point on if i'm buying one, buy the correct one. Thanks for the help sir!
