Last time I had fork seals done the dealer said I may have continued leakage problems due to some wear spots on the chrome. Are there better aftermarket options for the tubes? Or just get some used tubes? Thoughts?

You can also check RaceTech for fork tubes. They sell NTT (?) fork tubes. 43 mm KYBs are pretty popular, so you should be able to find replacements if the re-coating doesn't work.
