It was FIFTY-TWO and SUNNY this afternoon in Connecticut. Pulled my Ténéré out of hibernation, and took her for a 30 mile ramble along the beaches of Fairfield County. I was apparently not alone with this idea—I counted six other fully-ATGATTed riders, on everything from Harleys to a GXR, doing the same thing. Guys seemed positively giddy with their waves. I think we were all like, "Holy shit! Day after Christmas—December 26—and we're out here riding."

Hope you enjoyed the gift of global warming today to get out on your bike.

My son and I did around 70 miles on a 45 degree day this past Sunday. Alas, its currently 10 degrees with a projected hi of 17 today and not much improvement for the next few days.

A cold day today in Wisconsin, but still a good day to ride. Sunny and 6 degrees this morning and by afternoon, it had warmed up to 13 degrees. It's a 60 mile roundtrip to work and the Super Tenere ran great every mile. Heated grips and an electric vest make all the difference.
