Right there with you Harry. All battened down here (East side of Oviedo) with the S10 safely in the work shop and windows boarded up. Got soaked on a short ride this morning. :'(
Way to ugly out there now and getting worse fast. It may be a few days before we have power again after tonight but have the generator ready and lots of fuel. Hope I can ride again soon.
Should be an "interesting" night. :

I started on a trip north on the bike last week. I'm trying to get back home to West Palm Beach. My wife had the neighbors help her shutter the house and she is staying with friends tonight during the storm. Tomorrow I wait for the storm to blow through then I head south IF I can get gas along the way. I'm in Birmingham AL tonight and the closest available hotels are 450 miles from home. Looks like a long trek to get back.

We damn sure dodged the bullet in Melbourne on this one. This was the worst forecast in my 54 years living in this area. Mildest storm I went thru. Sure messed up my trip to Barber though.
