Flat Seat Mod, Seat Gap Camouflage

I did the flat seat mod which I think is a good/cheap mod. But the ability to see daylight around the front of the seat isn't a plus. I haven't searched, so this might have been done a million times, or there may be a better/cheaper/faster solution. What I did was get some frost king foam insulation tape and place it on the tank. I didn't try to be super precise, just eyeballed it to see if it would work, and ended up leaving it because it was a big improvement over the gap.

The comfort outweighs the aesthetic. I used a piece of my lawn tractors worn out drive belt. It is brown and works just fine. The natural curve of the belt lends itself to the task.
I agree, even if I hadn't done anything to remedy the gap I was happy with the results.
