Today on the way home I followed a big bad bagger and everything he had on was flapping in the wind. Pants Vest and Shirt was just flapping 300 MPH could not believe anyone could have any peace whatsoever. If my jacket flaps or my pants flap it can almost cause a rash or tingling that is just not a good experience at all. The bike cost huge money as do most bikes but really wish this poor soul knew what he was missing. His stuff even billowed up next to his ears from behind. He was waving his hand listening to some good tunes. It looked like he was having a blast :) I just know over some miles that's not doable...it's not sustainable...unless you got some really thick skin. I always bought leather for this reason and they last forever. But this year my boss got me a new jacket as a gift as I mentioned in another post here. The Carlsbad was pretty awesome in so many ways. Hard to really understand the value of a great jacket when all you know is something else if you know what I mean. I guess when I rode with leather 30 years no one could tell me different. Not sure I could be as comfortable as I am today. Not sure about the textile vs leather but I know I'm very prone to having my Jacket on now vs hog tied on the back. Haven't had any patches sewed on this one...I'm sure I won't times have changed from the old days.
