I have a bad left leg and have hoped they would bring the Crosstourer over with the DCT. I know it is not really much of an off-roader but it would be the perfect bike for me. Maybe they will offer it on the Africa Twin if it ever comes stateside. The NC is too cramped and I bought a CTX but the cruiser riding position and me didn't get along. I've still got my sights on an ES but a DCT would make me switch camps.

It looks kind of interesting, but for me, the chain final drive will always be a deal breaker. ::007::

Some don't mind chain maintenance. I do. I see nothing on the market or on the horizon that could lure me away from my Super Tenere.

I wouldn't take that image too seriously, given that at the top of the page it says "Exclusive MCN computer-generated image". MCN does not have a reputation for accurate reporting, and basically this image is a figment of their imagination. And they don't have a good imagination either... this is basically a copy of the old Africa Twin with a few updated parts. They say Honda will "keep the original Africa Twin styling cues" - probably, but I doubt it will look so much like the old one that they could be mistaken for each other.

That and no dealer network here in Canada.....
Good point! Honda used to have a fairly robust dealer network, until some genius got it in his head that Big Red should disenfranchise most of their real motorcycle dealers in favour of that ridiculous "Powerhouse" concept.

Oh me of little faith, well at least when it comes to Honda.

Still haven't forgiven them for the VFR.

For me it needs a shaft drive, although maybe Honda feel this puts more people off than on.

If it is based on the NC750 then no thanks, had a test on the NC700 and it was the flattest dullest bike I have ever ridden, my V-Strom 650 is an utter rocketship by comparison.

As for a GS beater from Honda, was that not what they said about the Crosstourer ::)
