First 100 miles on my 2018 ST

This bike is incredible. It’s comfortable, powerful and it maneuvers like a much smaller bike. The seat position is my only complaint and I'm fixing that this week. The gear display doesn’t bother me because I’ve never had one. I bought the bike new with 28 miles on it. Other than the seat angle, it’s perfect. It just needs some weathering lol

I have the same year as yours but I'm pushing 34,000 km on mine. She is my favourite bike ever and has presented me with many opportunities for exploration that I would never have attempted on my previous touring bikes.

Welcome, I too have the 2018. For long distance it is hard to beat my Victory Cross Country Tour but I have to say that this is pretty good. As others have said do the flat seat mod, I tried doing some custom seat stuff too but then I just bought an Air Hawk. Not the best but way better than what it was.

Yeah, she loses 100lb as soon as the wheels start rolling. I'm with you on the gear indicator. . . . the feel of the motor tells me what gear she's in. (or needs to be in) The only time I use the indicator is to see if I'm in 5th or 6th; I'm used to only having five, and they feel the same until the rpms start getting up there.

That is very true, long distance, enough to carry groceries home, off road. It is not the best of any one category but does do well in all of them.
