Thanks Bryn! That's everything I wanted to know, and those pictures in your thread are great too, nice to see the cockpit view of the thing. I agree and don't care if the thing mars up my windscreen either, but it's nice to know in advance what you're setting yourself up for -- so no remorse later.

Not sure on the bolt tension. Id hate to have it too lose and have the screen pop up on me while on the road. As long as the screen grippers are tightened down well I think it would be pretty difficult for someone to just yank it off, there are actually three contact pads per side. I don't anticipate prints being left behind unless there was some grit under them before I installed them.

With all that being said, If someone really wanted to take the screen all they would need is an Allen wrench and about 20sec.

For the guys that ordered the Universal version, why did you choose that one instead of the one designated for the S10?

I didn't see feedback for that one, at least I don't think so. If anyone has the S10 specific one, what do you think of it?

I ordered the wide one (universal??) and it fits nicely to the Calsci screen, but fittings are too wide for the stock screen....

Supposed to be delivered today. Wife was in the back yard and did not see the mailman. So he left a note that nobody available to sign for it. $150 Mitas E07 Dakar left on the porch, but a $35 screen needs a signature!

Oh, you didn't install on the stock screen. Now I understand, thanks!

Well, I had to wait a bit but it finally arrived. It works! No buffeting and reasonably quiet. Plenty of adjustment with the stock screen. My wind management problems are solved! Thanks to the OP!

I ordered mine on the 6th and it arrived on the 16th, not bad posting time to the uk, fitted it today, really straight forward, the only thing I did was put a strip of rubber between the mount the and the stock screen as the supplied mounts feel quite hard. Sadly it's pouring down and due to work it'll be a few days before I get a chance to try it out.

Had mine on for a few weeks and probably 1000 miles, took it off and it left no marks on the screen whatsoever ....it's back on again now 8)

Just ordered mine.

The seller was very prompt answering questions.

Problem is......looks like I'll have a tall OEM windscreen for sale.

From what I've read this product works best with the standard screen.

Oh well, I got the tall screen at cost, I'll recoup that by selling it on my ebay store.

I part out vintage dirt bikes as a side hobby.

So, I purchased this item on June 21st.

I just got the notification, this morning, that the item had just shipped.

This is slightly annoying to me and I am a most patient man.

I have my own ebay store and I ship my sold items within 1 day of the purchase, and most times, the same day.

An 8 day delay on an allegedly in stock item , is as I said, slightly annoying.

I will state when I sent a question the response back was almost immediate.

I hope this is a "Good things come to he that waits" scenario.

I do believe it does state on the ebay listing that shipment will only be sent when payment clears, which takes up to ten days. The biggest delay will be postage time within Russia, that takes almost ten days, moving from one destination to another, I know, I tracked it ::010::
