Well I don' imagine this subject has ever come up before, so allow me to be first. Is it 200cc in the rear end or do I just add new fluid until it begins running out the fill hole? Also, the torque specs for the final drive drain plug and fill cap are both 14 ft-lbs., correct?

Put it on the centerstand and fill it until fluid begins to run out, like you said. Much discussion and opinions on torque specs for drain plugs on the net, but a new/annealed crush washer and proper touch (aka don't overtighten!) are key. Torque specs are tough when you introduce fluids, especially lubricants, so a snug fit is really all you need for a good mechanical seal.

What he said

Fill till it runs out the fill port (on center stand). If you choose to torque the plugs, refer to the manual for specs. Torquing of drain plugs has already been beat to death so I'll stop here.

LOL at never come up before ::017:: Yea center stand and fill it until it runs out. Put the plug back in, and ride the hell out of it. Oh and yes the final drive gets HOT! So don't touch it and freak out, like many others have. Oh and don't wash it out with kerosene.
