The Raven is on the final approach to my garage, scheduled to land between 9:00A and 10:00A tomorrow ::015::

Touchdown was originally scheduled for 10:30A this AM, but I forgot about some silly 1st Aid training I had to partake in, so informed dealer and waved off landing :'(

Regardless of how long you waited, your patience will be richly rewarded. The bike is better than you expect. The more you ride it, the more you will realize it. Congratulations, enjoy!

Great news Bob! Good your roads are clear and you can get out. Our side streets are never/seldom cleaned, so I know I won't be out for a while.

Thanks for the encouragement everyone. I waited until I was sure I wanted this bike. After lots (1 yr.) of due diligence I'm sure. I think it will be a great summertime bike, as was the V-Strom.

Sorry about being snowed in up there Rod, we live pretty close and streets are mainly clean here in Thornton. Lot's of dried out mag-chloride though. I wanted to check out your side cases, but not excited about riding on ice. If I ever get up that way with 4 wheeler I'll give you a holler. Which cases did you settle on and how do you like them? I'm thinking the caraboo/pelican might be nice (and cheap too).

Bob, I went with the Givi Trekkers and very happy with them. Paul up here went with the Caribous so if you are up this way, you can probably arrange to see his as well. Perhaps we could all meet for breakfast or lunch.

Great idea! I can meet you guys up there one Saturday morning.
Almost any day works for me (retired) and I think for Paul as well. Not sure if he has seen this thread, so we may need to PM him.

Taking the family up to Steamboat for Christmas. Probably be busy until after the holidays. Not much to do after that. Maybe Johnson's Corner?

Our schedule is wild too. We drove over 1000 miles in the cage this weekend. Lots going on before Christmas for sure. We'll work something out though.

Just picked up on this thread. I'd be glad to meet up after Christmas to show you my Caribous, Bob. Congrats on getting the bike. I'm pretty free other than Christmas and Christmas Eve. Johnson's Corner would be fine. Work it out with Rod and let me know.
Paul
