Fender extenders!

After seeing someone posting that they made a front fender extender from a plastic oil container (free!) I'd thought I'd try it and wala!
But then I noticed something!
All the talk about water intrusion in the spark plug wells, well it makes sense now!
Stock fender allows water to fly (sling) nearly straight up off the tire onto the engine and bike,
My extender allows water sling only up to the exhaust now! As far as I'm concerned this is a good possible remedy for this issue.... ::001::

Looks like it will keep the crap off the front of your engine, but I sure wouldn't want that extension if the bike has a skid plate to catch on.

Yes, even the aftermarket extenders follow the curvature of the tire and still catch on many skid plates.
Mine is tangent to the fender and sticks out further allowing even better coverage, but with no skid plate.
Even if mine caught on something, it's flexible and wouldn't damage anything as the stiff aftermarket ones would.
