I figure the purpose of this board should be pretty self-explanatory. Throw any and all ideas you have here. I'll try my absolute best to implement them.

As far as the location goes, it's on my to-do list. I am planning an upgrade of the base forum software within the next few days, and after that I will also install a bunch of minor enhancements I have queued up like the location information. It's been bothering me as well.

Any interest in a member map as well? I'm sure you've seen it - each member can select their location on a map and then we can all see where they are.

I too like the idea of a member map. I think it will be some time before we actually have enough people listed here to warrant a detailed "Regional" section. Maybe, maybe not!!! What do you think?

I was wondering if there was a way to link to a PM when we scroll across peoples dot points on the google map? It just sounds neat if someone is going into an area and wants to email someone there.

It's not a one-click ordeal to accomplish this, but it's still not too bad. Here's what you can do:

1. Click on the member's pin on the map. This will bring up the information "bubble" with their name and avatar
2. Click on their name. This will forward you to their profile page
3. Click on "Send personal message". It's on the left side of the page under "Actions"

I'll see if I can get the link directly onto the bubble, but in the meantime this should get you where you want to go.
