i have been around that area in about that time of year. It is crazy how much snow is still lingering in the Rockies that time of year. Some where i have a picture of my FJR1300 in front of a froze over lake with sleet falling on me in Yellowstone one year in July I believe it was. I love to ride that area of the country. I have to say any where in the Rocky Mountains is one of my favorite places to visit!
Bring from Australia, mountain ranges consist of one dirty big line that runs from the top end right down the east coast.
I saw the Rockies from the air when flying out of Vancouver last year and the size and expanse is something that I simply could not comprehend if I hadn’t seen it.
Sure, we might have the Blue Mountains that were as you see them now when the Grand Canyon was barely a gully and Colorado river was just a creek running on the surface- but the Rockies is a whole different ball game!
