Maybe an odd question but have you a headlight out and are your indicators on all the time?

Don't see that over here in the UK

Not normal for headlamp, but good catch. The front turn signals stay on for running lights. Less than an hour before on that trail, very rough and ruts, cracked and broke my fender, plus lost my right headlamp, turned out it was a loose connection at the lamp and it fried/cooked it.

Yep, going up before the old water tower is where I did all the damage in hitting some severe ruts and rocks at speed. That was a great ride back in there!

That was in another thread last summer. No biggie, I repaired it with CF and still have it on the bike, new one waits in a box.

Btw that was my first off road trip ever. I made a huge jump on the top of the hill and crashed with front wheel into back of Africa Twin.
Luckily the only damage was busted tire.
