Thought I'd start a thread on favorite motorcycle tool(s). Two of my favorites are my Nomar Jr. Pro Tire Changer (w/wire wheel spool kit and balancer). Also, my Big Red Torin motorcycle lift table (900 lb capacity). ;D What's yours?

were supposed to have tools while we own japanese bikes? Um someone forgot to tell me that part!!! For me it is a handy set of allen wrenches to work with, as well as 1/4" drive metric sockets. Um forums for me are a great tool to have for information.

Good call! I got a set of those at Harbor Freight for cheap and they are majorly handy. A complimentary purchase is a set of allen head sockets.

my little magnetic finger glove thingie. great for holding a nut underneath a difficult location. saves tons of drop nuts and searching the garage floor..
also fond of a tiny ratchet I have for getting into small places and still able to turn a wrench.
bonus third tool - long telescoping picker upper tool - for finding and retrieving the bolts that didn't stay on my finger thingie and drop into places that I can't get my big fat fingers.

of course there are the ratcheting box end wrenches that make for easy removal of long studded bolts and nuts. I just got these about a month ago. SWEET!!!

I have some older craftsmen wrenches like that, but of course they're not metric......I need a metric set (Christmas list gift item ;) )

Be very careful with that type of allen key. I use them a lot and they are excellent. The load that you can apply to the ball via the T Bar can be easily enough to snap the ball from the wrench.

Precision Instruments Torque Wrenches.

Have two (different ranges), indispensable for working on junior's dirt bikes, from axle bolts to torquing down head bolts...

i have only used torque wrenches for assembly on engines. Everything else is by feel. I don't even own one now.

Jeff, might want to keep an eye on Sears flyers - we were Xmas shopping last night (Just had to go through the tool section ;)) and they had the beam - type wrenches (which are plenty accurate) marked down. Perfect stocking stuffer for yourself.....

I received a set of those T-handle ball-end allen wrenches several years ago and they are great.

I've got a pair of 1/4 and 3/8 drive Facom ratchets that I love if I have to work in a tight spot. They have twice as many teeth so you can use them in spaces where you can't get a click on a regular ratchet.

Just got a worklight that I really like: http://www.automotivetoolsonline.com/Bayco-SLR-2166-66-LED-Dual-Function-Rechargeable-Worklight-_p_15313.html

Oh, and an air compressor is pretty darned handy too!
