February 4th is Farkle Friday for me. Heading to Minneapolis for the IMS show. Grocery list is made, credit card is empty, and the cars pointed in the right direction.

Could not justify going to the IMS show this year. It hasn't been on my have to list for a good many years.
Seems it's all about leather & HD's & leather & trikes & leather.

Not my kinda way to blow an afternoon or the money it takes to get up there and get back home same day.

Hope it was fun.

I'm mainly going to look at the AltRider stuff and other vendors. And another look at the S10. I've had a harley of one kind or another for the last 22 years. They never have anything new or innovative. The last innovative thing they did was the Buell, and you know what they did with that.

Rob,

I know that it might be difficult for you right now, but if it were possible for you to set (or ask your wife to do it) the Trekkers side by side and post a pic from the rear, showing the relative width of each, it would be helpful. It would be best to post in the aftermarket hard luggage thread if you could.

Thanks,

I wish I had read your post an hour ago while I still had them handy in the living room. I just had my wife help me store them in my stable. I'll try to get back out there and take a picture later.

BTW, if/when you order, don't expect them to arrive keyed alike. Mine were not and according to adventure Motostuff, Givi makes no provisions to supply them as such (although I'd be suprised if they would sell the 3-piece set NOT keyed alike). I modified the tumblers in one of my bags this morning so mine are now keyed alike.

Thanks,
Fred,
I was back out yesterday and snapped a pic of the 46L and 33L side-by-side. Close as I could measure, there is 3" difference in width, in the base (lids are the same).

Thanks for that, Rob.

Now get back to resting up and healing! :)
Rob................
???

Hope the pictures helped you out!

Rest is all I have been doing it seems. I'm finally able to type a bit with both hands, but have to use the mouse with my left hand. I feel like Phil (the ground hog): Only 6 more weeks of ....... wearing this traction setup on my wrist!!! :))

Came home empty handed. All you could do was look, very few vendors to buy from. Very disappointed!
