Found this place by accident last week. It's only 3 km's from the house. Found out it's an old German prisoner of war camp called Camp 30. Very interesting place.

Picture during the second WW not sure what year. But I found out there was 600 officers there at one time. http://webhome.idirect.com/~lhodgson/camp30.html

Recent picture; Tenee sitting in the shrubbery almost the same spot as the top picture. Took me almost 2 hours to find the same spot.

I've hit a few famous places in the past week.

First I went to Alaska (it is an adventure bike...) and then I hit the newest Tim Horton's (as a Canadian living in the US this was a very special place to visit!)

Another famous Florida place…the 20 miles stretch on US301 between the towns of Lawtey and Waldo in the Florida Panhandle is the one and only place in the United States officially recognized by the American Automobile Association (AAA) as a Speed Trap. The AAA put up those billboards to warn travelers upon whom those cities prey. Too bad, because it's actually a nice scenic road up through there.

I was up there today for the Starke Bikefest, which is dead center on this stretch. Starke is famous as well, as the home of Old Sparky, Florida's prone-to-malfunctioning Electric Chair used through 2000. Doubt I can get a photo of the Tenere with that.

How about the Most Western point in the Continental United States (or there abouts - there is some controversy about this)

Cape Blanco, Oregon - just north of the town of Port Orford.....and my favorite lighthouse on the west coast!
