Caught the Birfield, eh? Sharp eye. I was thinking FJ, or maybe an original Toyota pickup given the wheelbase, but...those diffs are not Toyota fair... Pinz I wouldn't have guessed easily.

Yep, the Birfield caught my attention. I had a '78 FJ55 for a few years. Didn't recognize the diffs, but people do strange mods all the time. I've seen a few Pinzgauers in the field, but never saw one on it's side for show and tell.

The Arizona native Indians were more than happy to help us flip it back on its wheels but, it cost us a pictures. A few bumps/bruises but, everyone ok. Great trip!
