I am seriously thinking of going all street for a while. Has anyone out there done anything radical to the Street Side?

Wfopete says it already came "all street". 8)

So you should be good to go.

Hmmm! 17" front wheel, high front fender, cafe windshield, low mirrors, raising links, small muffler, grab rails removed, bobbed license plate and turn signals, and you have a fun 600 pound shaftdrive Street SuperMoto.

I was thinking of doing it to my Gen1 KLR.

Yes it came all street but How about a 17 up front and trim it a little.

Just want to see if anyone out there has considered it. Or just go get a WR.

If Yamaha cared at all about what we want.
Cut 100 pounds off & make a SuperMoto Super Tenere.

The front is fine, but the rear should be 170.

can you actually raise this bike?

I'd love to raise mine
WASP sells raising links as other vendors do. Make sure you know what they are made of.
