I've now owned 4 S10s (long story) and they all sounded like that

Yeah sweet ain’t it? The sound and reliability of a tractor, what a way to start the day!The first time I encountered a S10 and test drove it, upon startup I thought that I was listening to a Soviet era agricultural machine.
I can't say the spokes are perfect, but I'm confidant the noise is engine-related.....though it might be a normal S10 sound.Have you checked to make sure the wheels aren’t messed up from someone attempting to adjust the spokes and not knowing what they were doing ? That’s what happened to the first Tenere I had bought low miles used, it was so far out of wack that I had to pay a very experienced spoke adjuster to fix that issue.
I have wanted an S10 since I did 500 miles on a demo over a weekend in 2015. I'm hoping to Long Haul Paul this girl.In all seriousness, probably nothing to worry about. Ryan from Fortnine has done a good video about the S10, also explaining the firing sequence. And there is a top quality video called “XT1200Z Engine Powertrain” on YouTube. Can’t post a link right now.
With 5000miles it ain’t even broken in yet.
Go ride, get used to the bike. But above all: ENJOY!!
Always loved how he skipped the 600 mile service and the tear down later showed no issues.
There's another member on here that takes great sunrise pics. His first Tenere has about a quarter million miles on it. And, he's still take "short" trips to other states on it. His stage name is eemsreno.I have wanted an S10 since I did 500 miles on a demo over a weekend in 2015. I'm hoping to Long Haul Paul this girl.
i come from airheads so it feels like an F35 fighter jet to me...The first time I encountered a S10 and test drove it, upon startup I thought that I was listening to a Soviet era agricultural machine.
