Engine case paint ?

Morning,
does anyone know if Yamaha do a touch up paint or spray/rattle can to match the engine colour. Not looked yet, but maybe there is a close match from car paints.
I fitted my SW Motec crash bars yesterday and whist doing that, I noticed that there was 'white' corrosion around one of the case bolts. Untreated, this will just get worse.
Any idea ?

that's a great site, and in the future I'll need some of the white for my 10. But what I'm after now is the silver/grey engine paint. In my past experience, engine paint has never been available from dealers and it has to be matched and mixed by paint suppliers.

I'll keep looking.

Here's a long shot! Also look at Yamaha/mariner Outboard engine paints. Very durable and there may be some cross usage between bike and outboard engine. There's all those boat builders down your neck of the woods and to the West.

Great idea Ferret,
it does look like the 'shades of grey' (no pun) that Yamaha paint there engines.

PJ1 used to do some very good quality bike specific engine paint, worth a Google.
