My Super Ten is making a horrible buzzing sound when I try to start it.
I initially thought it was the battery however it still doing the same thing with a new one.
Attached is a youtube video of what I’m experiencing, any insight would be great.

My initial guess is either a bad starter relay or the battery isn't providing enough amps for the starter circuit. If it can be jump started from another battery, then the battery is the problem. if it can't, then they starter relay is probably the problem. That's where I'd make my initial checks, anyway.

Thanks for your response, I tried jumping it with the car battery, unfortunately with no change to the sound or response from the S10 as seen in the video.
Replacing the starter relay seems like a solid next step.

Any further opinions or agreements on the possible issue?

You might already have this info, but in case you don't, here's a diagram showing where the relay is located:

Before you spend money on a new relay, there may be a way to test the one in the bike and see if it's actually bad. I'll look in my service manual and see if there's a test procedure for it. If not, there are videos on Youtube on how to test one with a multimeter, though I don't know if the test procedure for the starter relay are the same.

I have the testing procedure for the starter relay from the service manual. If you PM me your email address, I'll send you the pages.

As suggested in post #9 above, the bolts on the starter relay (SR) have been known to shake loose, check they’re tight.

I’d start with the SR to resolve your issue.

Yep, sounds like a chatters relay. Fully charge the battery see if that changes anything. Then if no change, fully charge again and have the battery load tested. If good then go after the starting telay

Thanks to everyone for your input.
I checked the bolts and fuses on the starter replay, bolts are tight and the fuses are good.
As mentioned I already replaced the battery, which did not fix the issue, so I have a new starter relay on order.
Once I replace it I will update the thread.
Thanks again..
