So, I get the "ECO", which I think means "economy" when I riding (2015 S-10). I think that it means that I am getting the best fuel efficiency, however, I find it difficult to believe that I getting the best fuel milage, in fifth gear powering up a hill at 70MPH. Not sure why the thing comes on like that, my truck and car have the same system and don't show "Eco" when I'm on the throttle. Maybe something is out of wack in the computer. Thoughts. ::021::

Yeah... seems like a gimmick

I watch it and its like on most of the time unless im like over 40-50% throttle and over 5000rpm

I just did 2600km outback ride and still returned 5.0lt/100km tar, unsealed, dirt and fire trails.

The Eco must be valid because the computer shows that the range is well in excess of 300 miles after topping off the tank. :))

pretty normal... i top it off and see 900+ and constantly 650+ when still on FULL bars after 150km after fillup. Range is NOT even on this planet !!!

luckily, I still do things the old fashon way, look at the milage and at 210, I NEED to refuel. :( . Which is annoying, because I ride with GSA's that have 8 gallons on board. At least I don't have that weight to carry ::)

GSA's are top-heavy pigs, so I'm glad we don't have that from the factory.

You CAN have that many gallons on a Tenere if you want. Check the threads for member TABASCO who can increase the stock tank, and for long distance fuel cells which go on the back.

At my age, 210 is good, so I can streach my legs. I do carry a one gallon Acerbis spare tank that used to be mounted on my son's YZ80, just in case. The only way I would consider expanding the tank, would be if someone came out with a plastic larger main tank. I would love to get rid of the metal one. ::021::
