RynnSTorm,
Welcome to the Forum and the NW with other Tenere Owners. I live in Issaquah, and work in Kirkland. We will have to get together for a ride sometime. I have a lift and manual at my house if you ever want some help with some stuff. I do all my own work on my stuff. My bike is in partial pieces if you want to check it out, I am having it painted. If you have questions on any of the accessories to install, I have done half of mine already.

Hey! My current plans is to spend the next few weeks breaking in the bike on various paved local roads while I accumulate/install farkles/ds-gear. I'm pretty handy (do all my Gold Wing work), and after my 600 miles service (and a few more miles), I will complete the farkle process and hit some of the forest roads in Issaquah next month. (I'm a "newb" adventure bike rider). Thinking about the following to start:

I have the Sound Rider "Guide to Dual Sport Rides Through Western Washington" book with numerous interesting rides.

For next year, want to do the rite of passage Alaska trip. :) :) :)

Awesome Rynn. I wouldn't mind to ride some of those places as well. I would rather ride with someone than alone for off roaring for safety sake. Keep in touch.

Hey Rynn, just to let you know, that route has a lot of car traffic on it which heads out to the state campground 12 miles in from the pavement. Listed in the Puget sound dual sport map book is a 25 mile each way, then turn around and head back. This starts in Snoqualmie and has less traffic.
