fredb. a new Tenere owner Emgee from Seattle tried to ride over it this past weekend, and got turned back at about 3500ft. I hope it all clears soon. Which day are you going over rt 20?
Hey guys,

Yeah, I tried Entiat Summit on the Monday of Memorial Day weekend. I was super close to the summit before I hit snow. Not sure of the elevation. I only had an app on my phone, so I'm not sure how accurate that was.

Here's a link if you want to have a look. http://ridewithgps.com/trips/681096

I can't really tell from the topos, but if you look at the ESRI topo you'll see how close I was to the summit. Who knows what it's like on the back side of the more northern facing slopes though. I tried two routes and was turned back at both. You'll see where I got turned back where the tracks stop. Not sure how warm it's been up there the last couple weeks, so it might still be a crap shoot as to whether or not it's clear. Maybe check over at the ADVrider forums.

Good luck and let us know how it goes if you attempt it.

Cheers,
emgee

Another Tri-Cities S10 owner here. IBA kinda rider. I've had her for a bit over a month and she's about to turn 6000 miles.

Loving the bike.

Cant find any tenere riders local so im forced to ride with my buds who ride KLR's and KTMs. Actually i dont mind because they so admire my bike, LOL. Lets talk and get something going here boys

I would certainly be interested. Maybe I could wrangle my brother or a few tri city riders up. When?

Well I finally got mine all together. Guess I can officially join the crowd now. Just in time for the ice and snow ::007::. So if you see some lunatic riding in the Basin this winter, it's probably me.

Thanks. I'll be the first one to admit when I'm wrong. I wasn't wrong, however YOU were right :) Not certain exactly what I'm going to do with it (the Wee), but I love riding the ST. 45 mph on that sandy gravel road. Not even an uncomfortable wiggle. The TCS is pretty amazing. I LOVE this bike!
